DUXBURY YOUTH BASKETBALL

2007-2008 Season

Duxbury Youth Basketball (DYB) is an independent volunteer organization which organizes traveling basketball teams for boys (4^th-8^th grades) and girls (5^th – 8^th grades). DYB will be holding tryouts for their traveling teams on the following dates at DMS:

Saturday, October 13^th 4 2:30 – 4:00 pm

5 4:15 – 6:15 pm

6 6:30 – 8:30 pm

Saturday, October 20^nd 7 3:30 – 6:00 pm

8 6:15 – 8:30 pm

Important Note: All players MUST be present at tryouts to be considered. In the event of illness or family emergency the player or the player’s family must notify the DYB Board PRIOR to the tryout date.

A & B level teams are selected for each grade based on try-outs. There is one team for 4^th grade boys. Travel is generally around the South Shore Area with an occasional game in the western suburbs. Players should expect to participate in one to two practices and games each week.
